English Prescribing Data for June 2022 Is Available

We have updated the Prescribing dataset with the latest available NHS English Prescribing Data which includes activity up until June 2022. You can download the data from the Open Data Blend Datasets Prescribing page, analyse it directly in supported BI tools through the Open Data Blend Analytics service, or instantly explore insights through the Open Data Blend Insights service.

Two more road safety related Insight Reports have been added. These are all derived from our Road Safety datasets that you can freely download and learn more about here and here.

Goods Vehicle Safety Insights

We have added a Goods Vehicle Safety Insights report that effectively visualises trends and patterns for goods vehicle casualties. This enables you to quickly research into what can help goods vehicle drivers to stay safe on the roads and help to keep more vulnerable road users safe too. You can use the report to analyse goods vehicle casualty trends across years or within a single year, and go from high-level summaries, the number of casualties broken down by the vehicle type, down to detailed information including the accident reference numbers.

Van Safety Insights

Among goods vehicle drivers, van drivers are the largest group of road users and the Van Safety Insights report focuses if this. It effectively visualises van casualty data, enabling questions to be answered like, which age groups are most most at risk, which manoeuvres van drivers should be more cautious about, and the relationship between speed limits and the severity of an accident involving a van.
