Open Data Blend: Modern and Scalable Open Data Services

Each month, the Frictionless Data team, who are part of Open Knowledge Foundation, organises a community call where someone from the Frictionless Data community talks about how they are using the Frictionless Data specifications and software in their projects. Our product owner, Michael Amadi, presented Open Data Blend as a set of modern and scalable open data services during the October 2021 community call. The presentation covers our journey in adopting the Frictionless Data specifications, the open data re-use problems that we aim to address, our primary goals, and how our services can be used to gain faster insights from large and complex UK open data.
